G&W Heel Lift - Lateral / Medial Heel Wedges

Lateral/Medial (Varus/Valgus) heel wedges are intended to reduce pronation and supination. This can be related to lower-extremity misalignment which can result in painful knees as well as ankles and feet. A unilateral pronation of the ankle can create a direct 5mm functional leg deficiency and lead to chronic low back pain. Varus/Valgus wedges are intended to force an angular lateral or medial accommodation, to shift weight or change angulation of the lower limbs. This is often part of treatment for various foot ankle, knee, or lower back problems.

PQ Three-Degree Varus/Valgus Wedges
Three degrees of comfortable varus/valgus wedging
Three/Six/Nine-degree Lateral/Medial (varus/valgus) heel wedges
Lateral/Medial Heel Wedges control pronation or supination to stabilize the ankle.
Our heel wedges support the heel area firmly, and can be moved from one pair of shoes to another, or they can be installed semi-permanently using the included double faced tape. They will be effective and comfortable if one is permanently installed beneath the footbed or insole in each pair of shoes.

Sold in pairs, these can be used for medial or lateral correction by simply flipping them over.

Heel wedges are indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of the following syndromes:
